A permanent make-up is not the same thing as a traditional tattooing.
Permanent make-up and tattooing are alike, but not the same. A tattoo is placed on the body where it is hidden from view and where the skin is hidden from the sun and the environment.
Permanent make-up (micropigmentation) is normally conducted by medically trained individuals with good knowledge of anatomy such as medical doctors, nurses or beauty therapists.
When doing permanent make-up a smaller type of micropigmentation device is used and the needles are designed to carry pigmentation in to the skin.
Different anaesthetics are used to control pain during permanent make-up to help the client feel comfortable.
One or more touch-up sessions are normally needed after permanent make-up to adjust small irregularities in color or shape.
The colouration is made deep into the skin layer when tattooing, which means that the tattoo lasts for ever, whereas a permanent make-up lasts for around 3-5 years.
Having a permanent make-up can make your eyes more expressive, your lips can appear fuller and a beautiful and sensual look can be had that may require no further cosmetic improvement.
